SPORT: CHANGE TO WEXFORD HURLING QUARTER FINAL REFUSED
The Wexford County Board have confirmed there will no change to the arrangements for the double-header as part of the All Ireland Hurling quarter finals on Sunday.
Hopes to have Wexford’s match against Limerick in Semple Stadium moved to Croke Park or changed to have the game on a different day to the other quarter final have been refused by the GAA.
It comes as it was revealed last night that too many tickets were sold online and at retail outlets leaving clubs with only a small number of stand tickets.
Terrace tickets ONLY will now go back on sale at Wexford park from 2.30 tomorrow – after sales were suspended yesterday.
There are an unlimited number of terrace tickets available.
The county’s allocation of stand tickets will be distributed amoung the clubs – with each club getting 25 tickets.
No family tickets will be on sale.
