GIIL LOOKING FOR REDUNDANCIES AT WEXFORD CREAMERY
A number of voluntary redundancies are being sought at Wexford Creamery.
Glanbia Ingredients Ireland who took over the creamery earlier this year are to move the milk packaging operation to their other plant in Ballythore in Co Kildare where the Wexford Milk brand will now be packaged.
The Wexford cheese brand will not be affected by the move and will continue to be processed at the Wexford site.
The move will be in operation by August and agreement on the scale of the voluntary redundancies is yet to be agreed between management and unions.
