WEXFORD WOMAN AMONGST DRUG BUST ARRESTS
Five people were arrested – one of them said to be a woman from Wexford – as Gardai seized over five million euros worth of drugs in the car park of the IKEA store in Dublin yesterday evening.
The arrests came after Gardaí stopped a van and a car on the Ballymun Road in Dublin city where they seized approximately 90kg of Cannabis resin and arrested three men – one aged in his 20s, one in his 30s, and one in his 70s.
In a follow up operation at a unit in the North Dublin Business Park, Gardaí seized around 240kg of cannabis herb, arresting a fourth man in his 30s.
A short time later a woman in her 30s – reported to have an address in Wexford – was arrested in the Ballymun area.
It’s part of on-going intelligence-led operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs led by the Garda National Drugs Unit assisted by local Drug Units in Dublin.
