MISSING MEN IN CAVAN’S CAR FOUND
Gardai are examining a car located in Co Westmeath – as part of the investigation into two missing Dublin men.
The silver Ford Focus – the car used by the men – was discovered near Mullingar this morning.
Meanwhile a major search operation is continuing in Co Cavan – to locate Eoin O’Connor and Anthony Keegan.
Dozens of Gardai resumed their search operation in the Ballyjamesduff area of Co Cavan this morning.
They are being backed up by the Garda helicopter.
32 year old Eoin O Connor and 33 year old Anthony Keegan – who are both from Coolock in Dublin – were reported missing by their families on Wednesday – after they became concerned for their welfare.
Gardaí are also seriously concerned for the safety of the two men.
They had travelled with a group to Cavan on Tuesday – but haven’t been heard from since then.
Gardai have appealed to farmers and landowners to check their outbuildings as part of the search operation.
A silver Ford Focus – the car used by the men to drive to Cavan – has been located in Co Westmeath.
The vehicle – which is currently being examined – was discovered this morning just outside Mullingar.
