63 CANDIDATES DECLARE THEMSELVES FOR WEXFORD ELECTIONS SO FAR
Polling in this years local elections take place four weeks from today.
The Wexford electorate will vote in a new County Council of thirty four members while the four town councils will be no more following the election.
Nominations for candidates open tomorrow morning and will continue for one week when the nominations close on Saturday May 3rd.
Sixty three candidates have so far declared their intention to run in the Wexford constituency with Fine Gael having most at 18, Independents 16, Fianna Fail 14, Labour 6, Sinn Fein 4, People Before Profit and Eirigi 2 each, Green party 1 and Direct Democracy Ireland 1.
