SETANTA INSURANCE CUSTOMERS URGED TO GET NEW COVER ASAP
County Wexford’s Setanta Insurance customers are being advised to get new insurance cover by tomorrow.
75-thousand customers have been left without insurance after the company – which was regulated in Malta – went into liquidation.
A number of County Wexford investors were also affected by the collapse which saw their almost 10 per cent shareholding in the group being wiped out after the announcement.
Liberty Insurance had taken on the policies for a number of days but that arrangment will come to an end tomorrow.
