A new bill on equality has been brought before the Dail by Fianna Fail.
It aims to end discrimination in job placement based on an applicants social background
The debate in the Dail on The Equality Miscellaneous Provisions Bill was led by Wexford Fianna Fail TD James Browne.
He said it will add to other pieces of legislation already in place dealing with job equality.
