President Michael D. Higgins is leading tributes to the late, great sportscaster Jimmy Magee.
The 82 year old passed away overnight after a short illness.
He’s survived by his three daughters after his wife died in 1989 – he also lost his son Paul to motor neurone disease in 2008.
