The head of the Public Accounts Committee says the Taoiseach has “got it wrong” in his defence of the Garda Commissioner.
Sean Fleming says it’s clear that Noirin O’Sullivan had a duty to raise financial problems at Templemore with the State’s auditor.
That’s despite Leo Varadkar yesterday insisting the Commissioner had full discretion about whether, or when, to notify him.
