Gardai in Enniscorthy are investigating an aggravated burglary in the town.
The incident happened on Sunday night in the Duffry Gate area.
A man in his sixties was injured during the burglary and was taken to Wexford General Hospital.
A number of items were also stolen form the house.
Investigations are ongoing.
