Eu Celebrates 60 Years Of Treaty Of Rome

European leaders are marking the 60th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome – the agreement that led to the creation of the European Union. Pope Francis has welcomed politicians to the vatican where he warned the organisation risks dying without a new vision to counter populism. The 27 leaders have signed a declaration outlining the achievements and the challenges of European co-operation.
