The HSE has reassured those affected by shortcomings at a former foster home in the South East that it has taken action to rectify problems.
In a statement issued last night, the HSE said it has improved any deficiencies in childcare and disability services which were identified in a report by Senior Counsel Conor Dignam.
The Executive has again apologised to Grace – the young woman at the centre of concerns about the home – for the poor care received at the hands of the foster family.
The HSE said it had not waited for the publication of the report to act upon its recommendations.
