911 CALL MADE BY JASON CORBETT’S FATHER-IN-LAW RELEASED
Sheriffs in America have released over 100 pages of documentation relating to the alleged murder of Limerick man Jason Corbett at his home in North Carolina last August.
His widow, 32-year-old Molly Martens and her 65-year-old father Thomas Martens have been released on bail after they were both charged with second degree murder and voluntary manslaughter.
No date has yet been set for their trial and they have said they will plead not guilty, claiming self-defence.
Among the items released by sheriffs in North Carolina are the 911 call made by Thomas Martens.
My daughter’s husband, my son in law, he got in a fight with my daughter, I intervened and he is in bad shape, we need help”.
When asked by the operator if he was hurt, Mr Martens replied: “He’s bleeding all over and I may have killed him”.
