70,000 EURO WORTH OF STOLEN GOODS DISCOVERED IN LORRY LEAVING ROSSLARE
Gardaí have arrested three men in connection with the discovery of stolen property in a lorry at Rosslare Europort overnight.
In a joint operation between Revenue and Gardaí, a white Mercedes was stopped and searched as it was about to board a ferry for Cherbourg.
Gardaí discovered bicycles, power tools, garden machinery and beer kegs – all of which are believed to have been stolen.
Three men in their 20’s and 30’s – who are Romanian nationals with addresses in Ireland – were arrested.
They’re being detained at Wexford Garda station under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
