47 JOBS TO GO AT COUNTY WEXFORD COMPANY
Owners of the Irish Drivers-Harris plant in New Ross – which manufactures electric cable for worldwide export – have decided to close the operations immediately and have nominated Grant Thornton as liquidators.
Staff were informed by management at a meeting this afternoon.
Large losses and aggressive price competition are being blamed for the company’s closure after 80 years in business.
